Happy Friday! This has certainly been a jam packed week… Lots of new things going on and this time I’m delighted to be back on the blog to share about my new stamp kits with Unity! FIVE NEW KITS are being added to the Graciellie Design collection today: A Christmas Hello, Obsessively Grateful, Stay Strong, Sweetness and You Matter.
A couple of Inspiration Projects
A Christmas Hello…
Such a fun kit, with big and bold words and modern poinsettia and pinecone hanging elements… All the words come separate so you can mix and match to your heart’s content!
This shaker card was so fun to make! I watercolored the poinsettias with Arteza Real Brush markers, using the colors Red, Hot Pink and Flamingo Pink. The background was smooshed with watered down Tranquil Teal Premium Dye Ink by Gina K. Designs (available also at Unity), and then for the die cut frame that holds the shaker, I inked it with the same ink using a sponge dauber and sprayed it with water… I’m so in love with the way this ink reacted to water… This color in particular is beautiful! I also used Deco Foil Adhesive pen to add silver splatters to the background and the frame. Love how the foiled details tie all the design together.
The shaker in general feels a lot like a snowy scene. I used lots and lots of sequins from Unity in teal blue -that matches the ink so well- and in translucent silver. I also added some Fran-tage Silver Lux Mix micas & glitter… So yeah, this card really shakes! (I thought I had added too many sequins to the shaker, but everyone says there’s no such thing as too much when it comes to sequins! LOL)
You Matter…
My second card is so dreamy! I’ve had this clear stenciled background for months, and now it’s finally on a card! You Matter comes with beautiful sentiment stamps, uplifting and inspiring without a doubt. The modern floral vignette is also hand illustrated by yours truly and I love how it looks colored in lilacs! The background is a piece of Deco Foil Clear Toner Sheet stenciled with Platinum Modeling Paste by TCW Stencils. The stenciled acetate sheet is layered on a sprayed and splattered card panel… The colors behind it truly brings the entire card to life!

Again, it’s hard to choose a favourite, but I do like the bold font of your Christmas greeting, along with the pine cone & poinsettia. Love the card you made!
