Hello friends! I thought I’d stop by and share with you a couple of quick card ideas using digital stamps and papers… Whether you love to color or not, these are cards that you can put together very quickly and they both are trendy and colorful!
For the first card, all I used was a few printed scraps from the Flutter Away Digital Paper Pack and a digital sentiment from the stamp set with the same name.
To make this card:
- Tear 1″ strips from different patterned papers. They don’t need to be exactly the same.
- Attach the strips to a black card base. The card base color should contrast the digital papers you use, but it doesn’t have to be black necessarily.
- Print and die cut a digital sentiment stamp. A round die cut looks great with this simple design.
- Mount the sentiment with foam squares on the center of the card.
- Optional: Adhere some sequins.
This is possibly the easiest, fastests, and most striking card I’ve made! Love how all the colors stand out. If you want to try out these digital sets click HERE and HERE.
For the second card, we’re going for a rainbow themed design… You’ll need the Rainbow Vibes Digital Paper Pack together with the Color my World Digital Stamp Set.
To make this card:
- Print a Rainbow Vibes stripe sheet using an inkjet printer, and cut it into a 4.25″ by 5.5″ panel.
- Attach the panel to a white card base of the same size.
- Next, print a sentiment on white cardstock and cut a panel 5.5″ long from it, making sure the sentiment is centered on the piece.
- Mount the sentiment panel to the card using foam tape.
- Finally, print 2 paintbrushes from the same digital stamp set, fussy cut and quickly color them. Attach the images to the card using foam squares.
- Optional: Adhere some sequins.
As an alternative option you could foil your digital stamp images before adding them to the card. You can do that by simply printing the images with a laser printer. The toner from the printer will make the foil attach when ran through a laminator. I used a Gold Shattered Glass Deco Foil on the paintbrushes and did some light watercoloring using Zig markers. (Foil will resist the watercoloring.)
Love how the vertical sentiment panel balances the bold rainbow patterned paper. The painbrushes frame the sentiment and add an extra fun touch to the design. If you want to try out these digital sets click HERE and HERE.
I hope you find these ideas useful for your crafts! There’s an infinite amount of quick designs that are possible using digital stamps and papers, and I would love you to be inspired to experiment and create with them!
That’s all for now. Have a crafty weekend! Until next time.
