Video Tutorial: Flamingo Foil-Mates Cards + Free Printable

Adding foiled details to your cards has never been easier! Today I’ll show you how I made foiled Flamingo themed cards using Foil-Mates backgrounds. Foil-Mates backgrounds are easily customizable and this time I added a splash of color to them using inks. Plus, we’re also sharing a free printable with Flamingo themed sentiments so you can recreate today’s card yourself!

Flamingo Foil-Mates Card Video Tutorial

Many of you may be wondering if the Foil-Mates paper is thick enough for techniques that use water, and the answer is yes. The paper has a very smooth finish and allows you to apply and blend inks easily. On the other hand, it will hold after using water moderately. On today’s card I sprayed water directly to the Foil-Mates background and although at first you might notice some texture on the spots the water touched, once it dries it will have its original smooth finish.
