Elegant Die Cutting with Victorian Accents & Deco Foil

I always like to start the new year on a serene, positive mood. I mentally set a goal or two -something realistic and achievable- and then I reinforce my sense of patience so I can delight in the simple things of daily life while I wait for those goals to be fulfilled. That being said, once again I start off my creative year with a card and sentiment to inspire you to go out and pursue your goals, knowing that all things are possible to those who believe it, through hard work and kindness.

This year I want to play more with my dies, including those old ones we tend to neglect throughout after a while. I’ve always been passionate about die cutting and if you’ve followed me a bit you know how much I enjoy to add layers and layers of elements to my cards.
For today’s card I used four beautiful, victorian corners to frame my card front. To begin, I used two mats cut from patterned paper in different designs, one of which was foiled. I added more touches of gold to the focal point of the card, using foil for the sentiment and butterfly stamps, as well as for the die cut elements.

Digital files used to create this card can be found on my Etsy shop. Here are the stamp sets and digital paper packs I worked with:
