Valentine’s Treat Bags + DIY Rosettes Tutorial

I’m glad to be able to share a DIY tutorial on a couple of pretty Valetine’s treat bags I created! Ann Butler Designs’ products were key during the process of making these projects I’m showing you today!

Supplies
Stamps: Colorbox Background Basics by Ann Butler – Basket 1 and Picnic 1
Inks: Colorbox Crafter’s Inks by Ann Butler in Sunshine, Colorbox Crafter’s Inks in Bark and Snow
Tools: Colorbox Color Blender, Westcott Titanium Bonded Trimmer and Titatium Non-stick Scissors. WRM Gift Bag Punch Board
Velcro Mini Fasteners – Round 3/8″ Dots
Adhesives: Ad-Tech Crafter’s Tape, Bazic two sided tape and foam tape, Uhu silicone glue
Enviromental Technologies Easy Cast Resin and Easy Mold Silicone Putty
Embellishments: White tulle, SU linen thread, Lara’s Crafts jute twine, gold vintage button, handmade resin flower, staple, mini tag
Paper: Leather textured cardstock

I absolutely love the final look of these pretty treat bags, but for them to look like this I had to create every single thing from scratch. That’s right! The embellishments, the bags themselves were all made from scratch! To see my step by step tutorial click HERE.

I have certainly been inspired to create pretty Valentine’s projects lately, especially for friends and family. I also like to make projects in non-traditional Valentine’s colors. In this particular ocassion I was also inspired by a nice blog hop and challenge being hosted by Latina Crafter!

I hope you enjoyed today’s post and tutorial! Have a nice and creative weekend!
