Textured Clay Leaves – Ann Butler Designs

I’m delighted to be back with a new card for Ann Butler Designs. I love the versatility of Ann’s Faux Quilting rubber stamps and also her Crafter’s Inks, so I decided to use the stamps to add texture to clay leaves and the inks to color them too.

Other
Avery Elle – Flower die
Fancy Pants Designs – Burlaps & Bouquets
Textured cardstocks in light yellow and white
Vellum
Large Pearl stickers

I adhered 4 of the leaves around a couple of cute flowers. I also colored the flowers, and the round white layer to which I added the bouquet, with Crafter’s Inks in Berry and Sunshine. The Berry ink once combined with the yellow, became a nice, soft peach. The colors blended nicely giving the cardstock a dégradé effect! I used a piece of green patterned paper that goes along perfectly with the leaves and extends the texture and green tones to the card base.

This little squared card was finished with a heat embossed Spanish sentiment on a vellum banner.

I hope you liked my card! Thanks so much for stopping by!
