Autumnal Inspiration – Classy Cards ‘n Such

Hello! Today I want to share what I made for this week’s challenge at Classy Cards ‘n Such: Trees and/or Fall Foliage (Use trees and or fall leaves, plants). I enjoyed using earthy tones and lots of texture to make my card… It is truly an Autumn inspired creation.

I used mostly Spellbinders dies to make this card. First I die cut a bunch of leaves with Bitty Blossoms, from different cardstocks, which included Echo – Bronze Stardream Metallic. I colored a couple of leaves with Yellow Gold Inka Gold. Also, I die cut some Pine leaves with Poppy Stamps’ Pine Garland. Next I die cut an oval with Elegant Oval from Echo – Bronze Stardream Metallic and a smaller label with Fancy Label Tags One. I heat embossed a sentiment from Our Daily Bread Designs’ Faith stamp set in Gold detail on the smaller label. I mounted the labels and added all the leaves to one side, framing the sentiment.

I did leave a space between both tags so I could run through a piece of ribbon. But before adhering it all to the card base, I added a piece of tan burlap ribbon, that gives lots of texture to the design. I die cut the card base using A2 Matting Basics A. I finished the card with two Baby Rhinestones – Silver.

I hope you like my card! Remember that most of the supplies used are available at Classy Cards ‘n Such Store. Click on the links to be directed to the store. And if you do purchase, use the code Gracie-10 during checkout, and you’ll get a 10% discount!
