Let’s Hear it for the Boy

Hello! It is Saturday already and that means it’s time for a new challenge at Hiding in my Craft Room, HIMCR #150: “Let’s hear it for the Boy”.

Our sponsor this week is:
One lucky winner will receive
two digital images.

Their images are adorable, and I had the chance to work with a cute little digi called Sherlock Mouse.

Materials
Spellbinders: Classic Circle Small, Gold Elements One, French Frills, Venetian embossing folder, Grand Calibur die cutting machine.
Inks: Distress inks in Old paper and Vintage Photo, Brilliance Tiramisu, Colorbox in Frost White
Spectrum Noir Markers – Essentials
Embossing powder in Copper
Merletto: Crystals, paper cord
Bazic two sided tape and foam tape
Other generic materials
Feuille cardstock in sand beige
Textured cardstock in brown
Linen cardstock in white

The image was colored with markers, die cut and layered on a faux letterpressed piece of cardstock. I also sponged irregularly the letterpressed layer with some white ink and it gives the card a grungy look. I wrapped the card vertically with paper cord and tied a little bow. Finally I heat embossed a sentiment in Spanish on a two toned tag that is also decorated with paper cord.

I hope you can join us this week with a male card. All you need to do is visit Hiding in my Craft Room and link up your creation.

This card is participating in:
One for the Boys – Wags n’ Whiskers Stamps
Father’s Day or For a Male – Simply Create Too
Let’s hear it for the boy – A Song in your Heart
Father’s Day or Anything Goes – Dazzling Diva
