That is right! As I showed you in the last post, I managed to make my own stencil but now I’m also experimenting different ways to stencil… I’m in creative mood! Today’s card is thought for Hero Arts Birthday Challenge in the Metallic category. First of all, I’m honored to be able to join this challenge, because my first stamp set was from Hero Arts. And the sentiment I used for this card and the last one (DIY Stenciled Card) is precisely from that set! It feels like it was AGES ago! LOL
Anyways, I had to try something different and also test the durability of this homemade stencil. Let me tell you, it is really resistant. I have used it 4 times, with pigment inks and now distress embossing ink, and it’s all good!
I made sort of 3 color combinations. I used gold, silver and a mix of both to create a blended effect in some parts of the card. This powders work great even when blended, so try to experiment and maybe you’ll find it useful. Another thing I did is, I used lightly textured heavyweight paper to give the embossing a different effect.
To finish it I die cut a polaroid shape, using Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics and the largest of the Classic Square Small set. Finally I added a little gold ribbon bow.

I love your cards, so beautiful. Question, what adhesive did you use for the vellum?

Hello BlueRose, Thanks. This time I used http://www.bazicproducts.com/925.html
Just a tiny square in each corner. It's strong and very transparent. And if put on a spot that's not embossed in gold or silver, you can't see it at all.
