Oh MY!! Absolutely love this … everything about it… I am so excited to see how you created that background… no wonder it almost looks like the gold is popping off the page because it’s on another layer!! SO cool!!! Definitely going to play with that technique. Thanks so much for having us along for the ride!!

Gorgeous! And such a clever way to add the foiling on top. I’m also very intrigued by the fact that you managed to watercolour a digital image. I do have a Samsung laser printer but I have not had any luck so far trying to print onto 140lb watercolour card. I meant to try Bristol smooth cardstock but have not tried it yet. Have you tried different cardstocks and/or do you use a special setting to print your images?

Hi Marianne! I’m glad you liked the tutorial! As you can see in the supply list, I mention regular Canson watercolor paper (for the background) as well as Canson mixed media paper (to print the digital stamp). The mixed media paper is 90 lbs, and will allow you to print the stamps beautifully. As for different brands, I’d say go for 90 to 100 lb paper weight, and you’ll be able to replicate what I did here for my card. Thanks so much for your comment!!!
