Video Tutorial + New Release & Giveaway with Unity Stamp Co.

Hello friends! I’m so glad to be back with a video tutorial featuring a brand new rubber stamp release with Unity Stamp Co. I am SO excited to share what’s new today, so be sure to scroll to the very end of this post to see all the stamp kits available starting now over at Unity’s website.

Naturally Beautiful Rubber Stamp Kit

I’ve been sharing sneak peeks on social media –here and here– of today’s project. Today’s card is a fresh Summer design with lots of contrast, featuring these hand illustrated orange blossom branches, that I watercolored and fussy cut to create a frame around the glitter stenciled black background and sentiment.

I’ve included the cardmaking process from start to finish on the video below… This card is basically a whole lot of watercoloring and a bold stenciled background mixed together for a eye catching final design. It wasn’t a complicated card to make at all… All the contrary, actually! The coloring process is so satisfying, with this botanical stamp and all the rest is quite simple. Click below to watch…

  1. Gorgeous card and video tutorial and awesome new stamp sets.

    I have a question,
I have a Samsung Laser printer and I have been printing on Canson Mixed Media paper, after reading your recommendation I had them on my wish list and my hubby gave them for my birthday.
Now I am printing with them and I noticed that I had some light and darker speckles on to my paper.
That is not a problem if I cut out the image but it is a problem if I want to keep the white of the paper as background.
Do you also suffer from this or do you have an idea how I can solve this?

    1. Hi! What’s happening it’s that the toner is probably stuck to the magnetic roll. To improve your printing, take out the toner from the printer and give it a couple of taps, to shake the toner a bit and then put it back in the printer. Next, order a print with a solid black image to see if the print improves. Hope this tip helps!

      1. Thank you for your answer Gracie. The print itself, the image, is oké, but there are places where there should be no, on those places there are the light and darker speckles of ink.
First I thought that around the digi image the background wasn’t clean but I had it with other prints also from differend companies.

  2. Hello Graciellie,
I just bought my first sets of digital stamps and I have a I Pad, I was wondering if you recommended a particular program to use. for example photo shop, or anything else, I like making A2 size cards.
