Quick Tip Video: Monoprinted & Stenciled Valentines using Black Modeling Paste

Hey there! I’m back with another cardmaking idea for Valentine’s Day! This time I went overboard and created a bunch of cards using the Gel Press printing plate together with The Crafter’s Workshop Heavy Body Paints and Black Modeling Paste and a super cool stencil that made this design pop! I also have a quick video showing you how I created these backgrounds.

While preparing this project idea I rediscovered my love for monoprinting and also discovered a new obsession: Black Modeling Paste… These modeling pastes are so thick and easy to apply and they add so much dimension, texture and color to your projects!

The cards themselves are really easy to put together once you have the backgrounds ready. As you can see, for some cards I simply die cut a large heart from the stenciled backgrounds and added them to a black card base. For a couple other cards I also added an SVG word that I cut on my Cricut and attached that to the card front.
