Winter Butterflies: Watercoloring with Heavy Body Metallic Paint

I’ve never seen snow in real life but I do love the idea of a snowy Winter. Today I’m sharing a card that encapsulates that idea. This card comes with a step by step tutorial also.

Tutorial with The Crafter’s Workshop

I made this card using several supplies from The Crafter’s Workshop. They carry a luscious Iridescent Silver Heavy Body Paint that I knew would go beautifully with these stamped and heat embossed Silver butterflies from my kit Spark by Unity Stamp Co. I’m sharing all the details including a quick tutorial at TCW’s blog, so make sure to read that post also. I have included the supplies also so you can easily recreate your own version of this card.

I hope you love this idea as much as I do! It is an unusual theme perhaps, Winter Butterflies, but it turned out so delicate and shimmery. Additional to that, I love all the different textured on this card. This card would definetely work for any special ocassion during the Winter season! That’s all for now. Head over to TCW’s blog for more inspiration. Until next time.
