I finally had a chance to photograph my card for today! Between rainy days and some needed rest, at last I was able to spend a whole morning in my craft room. Christmas will be here before we know it and I love Poinsettias, so today I’m sharing a lovely clean and layered card with lots of different textures and elements!
One of my favorite colors for Christmas cards is pool / aquamarine. I used at least 3 tones of white and used sand / beige too. I always find that silver metallic accents compliment cards beautifully when I use this color combination!
To achieve the texture on my Poinsettias I used one of my favorite non-crafty supplies: shelf liner. This shape is a bit tricky to die cut on the liner because of the flower’s tiny center… Sometimes the petals may separate but you can always adhere them back to the ensemble.
The accents added included pearl stamens, craft metal and metallic cardstock die cuts, rhinestones and a word bead. The white column on the right adds graphic, minimalist structure to balance all the texture on the card… Love how the design turned out!

I watched your video posted on youtube on how to make these flowers. I think one of the materials you said you used was Crate Paper. I don't know if that's correct or not, but I can't find this material. Could you help me with where I might find it and what it is used for? I would appreciate your help. Thanks
