Glittery Color Challenge – House of Cards

This month at House of Cards our challenge is based on a very nice color palette with an added twist, glitter. I love aquamarine blues, so this combo is one of my cardmaking weaknesses!

For today’s card I was also inspired on a sketch from Cardabilities. I did leave a good amount of white space on the front of my card, though I think the final look reminds me of old fashioned bling (Gatsby style).

Supplies
Dies – Spellbinders: NEW! Heirloom Oval, Elegant Ovals, Snowflake Pendant, A2 Matting Basics A. Our Daily Bread Designs: Fancy Foliage, Asters and Leaves, Flourished Star Pattern
Stamps – Stampendous Spanish Messages
Inks – Perfect Pearls Mists in Biscotti, Ann Butler Crafter’s Inks as embossing ink
Adhesives – Scortape: 8 1/2″ x 11″ Double sided adhesive sheet, 1/2″ two sided tape. Beacon’s Tacky Glue. Uhu silicone gel glue.
Other – Envirotex Spray Crystal Clear sealer (used on glittered die cuts/made glitter opaque and vintage looking), silver embossing powder
Miscelaneous – Leather textured cardstocks in white and aquamarine, vellum, silver glitter, pearls and rhinestones, satin ribbon.
