Thankful Blooms – Dies R Us

November is the month to celebrate, and be thankful with family and loved ones. What better way to share how thankful we are than with a card? This time at Dies R Us we invite you to join our Thankful challenge. For your inspiration I made a Fall themed card, with lots of die cuts.

Supplies
Dies – Spellbinders – Nestabilities – A2 Tranquil Moments / Cheery Lynn – English Tea Party Doily / Spellbinders – D-Lites – Decorative Wrought Iron / Spellbinders Donna Salazar Collection – Carnation Creations / Poppystamps – Dies – Pine Garland / Avery Elle – Elle-ments Dies – Simply Tags: Everyday / Cas-ual Fridays – Casual Vine Fri-dies
Inks – Ann Butler’s Crafter’s Ink: Tangelo, Sunshine, Berry / Distress Inks: Old Paper, Vintage Photo, Embossing
Stamp – Flourishes: Zinnia stamp set
Papers: Leather textured cardstocks in beige, light brown and white/ Shimmery embossed paper in green / Craft metal

Adhesives – Elmer’s Glue-All / Uhu All Purpose adhesive
Tools – Grand Calibur die cutting machine / Zap! heat tool
Other: Inkadinkado embossing powder in Glam Gold / Merletto pearls and crystal stickers / Lara’s Crafts Jute twine

The die cut card base sure add lots of detail to the card, but that of course wasn’t enough. I layered one side of the card’s front with part of a doily die cut and wrought iron die cut. I added die cut leaves, jute twine, and some handmade flowers that I colored with different inks and Inka Gold (see how to here). To finish my design I added pearls, crystals and of course a little tag with a Thanks a Bunch sentiment.

For added inspiration visit Dies R Us Challenge Blog, and check out what my teammates have created. Link up your project for a chance to win a $10 voucher to the store! Our winner and favorites will receive a badge too!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing my card.

I’d like to submit this card to:
