Hello again! It is quite a celebration we are having at Hiding in my Craft Room! I’m here for our 3rd. challenge of the day: Holiday Catch Up. This is a great opportunity to create a much needed project for a holiday. Whether you didn’t have the chance to make it on time, or whether you want to start working on some future holiday projects, any occasion is welcome: Christmas, Easter, Memorial Day, Halloween, 4th of July, etc. And of course it can be anything from a scrapbook page, to a card, a mixed media project, and more…
Laurie from HIMCR
I didn’t have enough time to make a christian Easter card, so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to do just that.
Materials
Spellbinders:
– Majestic Labels Twenty-Five
– Damask Motifs
– Adorning Squares
– Grand Calibur die cutting machine
ODBD stamps – Faith
Brilliance pigment ink
Inkadinkado embossing powder in Silver Starlight
Zap! heating tool
Merletto crystals
Bazic two sided tape and foam tape
Other generic materials
Eggshell cardstock in white
Specialty pearlescent cardstock in soft blue
Specialty embossed paper in silver gray
7/8″ gross grain ribbon in light gray
This 4 3/8″ x 4 3/8″ card was made combining many different dies in alternative ways. The very first layer in blue is actually a rectangular die, I cut in half and overlapped to create a nice square frame.
