Minimalist Floral

Hello my friends, this is a post that I am enjoying already. Minimal & Floral… It doesn’t get better than that! It sounds as good as chocolate to me! Flowers being so luscious and one of my favorite things in this planet and on the other hand a clean & simple style… A match made in heaven!

The card for today was created for two of my favorite challenges: Flourishes and The Card Concept. I was immediately inspired with both challenges, and I adore the fact that I can merge them to showcase this CAS floral card.

It seems like this is Flourishes’ last Timeless Tuesday Challenge. If it’s so, it breaks my heart in tiny pieces. I started my blog a bit ago and was enjoying this challenge so much. I am a fan of Flourishes’ stamps and will continue to create cards with them anyways. Nevertheless, I want to sincerely thank the company and it’s Design Team for their support, kind comments, inspiration and so many things that will certainly be missed.

On a brighter side, I am so happy to be able to share this creation on The Card Concept too. It goes great with the floral theme (that you know I love).

The featured stamp is from Flourishes’ Cherry Blossoms stamp set. I stamped it with Ranger embossing ink, applied inkadinkado embossing powder in Linen White and heat set it with a ZAP! heat tool. Nothing out of this crafty world…

I used a very elegant specialty card stock for the card base. It is a subtle metallic pink with a delicate shimmer and gold undertones. I think that the embossed cherry blossoms contrast perfectly… And because CAS doesn’t mean you won’t pay attention to detail, I took my time to finish the card adding little crystal embellishments to the center of each blossom. That gave the card a graceful twist!

I hope you like this card as much as I do. I always say that when a project comes out almost effortlessly is because one was truly inspired. And that’s what happened to me just now!

Thanks for stopping by!
