A card I love with a twist…

Hello!

There are some cards that have to be done again. The Cottage Charm card, is one of them. I must confess I’m in love with sketches that allow some sort of window layout to the card. In the case of this specific card, it’s a window created by the amount of layers and the way they are placed.

So today, I have a remake of the card I love, with a sketch I came up with through trial and error and a twist in the color palette. This image can give you a better idea:

One very important detail is that this card is quite larger (6 1/4 ” long by almost 5″ wide) compared to the original one. But it kept it’s charm. Here it is…

Materials
Shery K. Designs paper – Antoinette
Haj Design paper – Gorgeous Roses
Spellbinders:
– Grand Large Labels
– Butterfly Magic
– A2 Filigree Delight
– Fancy Framed Tags Two
Color Box pigment ink in pink
Ranger distress ink in Spun Sugar
My Pink Stamper – Spanish Sayings
Stampendous – Spanish Messages
Merletto pearls and crystals
Other generic Materials
Kraft heavy weight paper
Old blue pearlescent paper
1 inch pink ribbon
2 inch one sided lace

This is Valentine’s card. The sentiments I stamped are in Spanish and translated it says: “Princess… I love you”. I really hope you like it. This card has a tiny bit of my heart in it. 🙂

  1. Thanks for sharing your very creative project with us Graciellie! The colors are spot on and the elements visible thru the oval window are delightful details!
